Genesys, the global portal to information about plant genetic resources for food and agriculture held in genebanks, has received a significant boost with the updating of the data on the collection maintained by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT). The CIAT updates brings its total number of accessions on Genesys to 67,769.
The CIAT accessions are just a few of the 3,595,825 accessions from 434 institutes that can be searched using the Genesys platform.
